Border Police rescued two incidents on the Tirana coast: in Himarë, a Spanish citizen was found in the water after his kayak capsized and was saved by the border team. In Ksamil, eight Brazilian tourists were rescued from a dangerous plastic raft and brought safely to Puerto Rio beach.

The first case was recorded in the Filikuri area of Himarë, where a Spanish woman reported that her husband, Spanish citizen A. G., was in trouble at sea after the kayak he was sailing capsized. After receiving the report, Border Police services launched a search, located him, pulled him from the water and safely transported him to the Himarë Border Control Point, writes A2CNN.
Another intervention took place in Ksamil, where eight Brazilian tourists, members of the same family, were rescued after the plastic raft they were on threatened to break up near the “Three Islands” area. Border Police personnel intervened with ropes and jet‑ski equipment, pulling the tourists to safety and towing the vessel back to shore at the “Puerto Rio” beach.
